The Hummingbird Cake
Hummingbird Cake was the first cake I ever learned to make, and despite plenty of mistakes along the way, it’s still my favourite. Adapted from Modern Honey’s recipe, my version uses extra-ripe bananas, a touch of cinnamon, and bread flour for the perfect texture. I might not be a pro baker, but this cake has a special place in my heart—and now I sell it at The Wee Bookshop in Dollar! Plus, I’m sharing my must-have baking tools, including my beloved KitchenAid mixer.
